Why We Started This Blog

Soulsbys was built to feel like more than just a barbershop (without saying that exact phrase). It’s the kind of place where you walk out with a fresh cut and a hot take on the footy. Or a new playlist. Or a strong opinion on why mullets deserve their moment.

So now, we’re putting that energy somewhere scrollable. A place to keep the chinwag going, even when you’re not in the chair.

And, if we’re being real — a little SEO never hurt. If someone searches “best barbers in Perth” or “how to style curly hair without losing your mind”, we’d love for them to find us. So here we are, doing the content thing. Minus the fluff.

Why It’s Called The Chat

Because that’s what it feels like when you’re in the shop. The conversations are half the experience. You tell us about your day, your holiday, your housemate’s weird meal prep. We talk cuts, curls, clippers, and whatever else comes up.

This blog is just a written version of all that.
